The Goodrich management was absolutely sure of the huge potential that exists for international trade in Thailand. Keeping this in mind, Goodrich proceeded to set up its own own office in Thailand, by incorporating a company in a Joint Venture. The company is called Goodrich Thailand Co. Ltd. (GTCL).
The identified business areas for GTCL are Liner Agency, Liquid Logistics, Reefer Services, International Freight Forwarding and Bulk Vessel Operations.
GTCL anticipates to do very well in all these segments and expects to be a surplus contributing company. The company is a Joint Venture between Goodrich Asia Pacific, Singapore and a local Thai holding Company.
