NVOCC

After venturing into Liner Shipping as agents, the Goodrich Group strategically entered the realm of container services, establishing its NVOCC operation through Vasco Maritime, a Singapore-based company. This move, amidst major liner operators forming their own agencies, proved instrumental in the Group’s growth, expanding from port-to-port sectors to covering the entire Asian region. To support this expansion, Goodrich opened multiple offices in India and overseas. The success of the NVOCC business empowered Goodrich in negotiations and allowed the commencement of NVOCC services for other Group companies.

The strategic growth included diversification into specialized equipment like Reefers, Flat Racks, and Open Tops. Recognizing the evolving global freight landscape, Goodrich Management integrated NVOCC business into distinctive equipment-based services, with Vasco Maritime focusing on DV operations and Goodrich Maritime LLC exclusively operating special equipment. The cumulative Dry Van fleet across Group companies exceeds 50,000 TEUs, with increments carefully considered based on industry conditions. Safety remains a top priority, with regular training for personnel and agents on safety aspects and proper documentation. All equipment and Bills of Lading used are adequately covered by leading insurance companies, ensuring the Group’s status as a quality service provider.
