The First Annual Sales Conference of Goodrich was held at the Acres Club, Mumbai from the 25th – 27th April.
Attended by sales personnel from all over India, the conference was unique in many respects.
The participants were a mix of senior and mid level employees to the rank juniors who have recently been inducted. This was an enlightening opportunity for the new entrants.
Goodrich which ranks among the top in India in terms of versatility in the logistics segment, showcased the well evolved logistics activities in ample measure. Prominent among which were the Bulk Liquid, Liner, Reefer, Chartering, CIS and their domestic liquid segments.
On the second day, participants had the opportunity of hearing guest speakers of repute selected from the various aspects of sales. The intention was to expand knowledge and hone the skills of the participants.
Capt. Dinesh Gautama, President, Navkar Corporation, a highly renowned speaker, Alik Bhowmick, Head Supply Chain of Mylan and Arup Bhattacharya, a Marketing Guru in the Shipping and Logistics field more than fitted the bill in this regard. Each one of them was eloquent and could create a huge impression in the minds of the attendees.
The third day was reserved for a no holds barred discussion, where issues which plaque the system was deliberated and resolved, followed by a brain storming session about various opportunities that exist, to leapfrog Goodrich into a different league.
