Reefer Cargo

What started off modestly in 2001, has grown multiple proportions today. A small fleet of 15 FEUS of refrigerated containers, has grown to over 400 FEUS, and some 20’ containers as well.

A single trade lane between Nhava Sheva and the UAE in the initial phase, has grown exponentially to cover the whole of Asia. Additionally this equipment also ventures out into East Africa, Afghanistan and CIS countries.

The reefer services of Goodrich have evolved and expanded, due to bold initiatives. Examples of this are the development of a new trade lane, enhancement of the fleet, and setting up of an in-house technical upkeep team.

This team is fundamentally strong in back-up services, like a round-the-clock technical support on the spot, tracking and supervising inventory, to achieve quick turn-around of this equipment.  An innate knowledge of the products, their seasonality and temperature requirements, have contributed in their own way.

Goodrich is among the few NVOCC’s who maintain a regular supply of reefer containers at various ICD locations across India.

Being fiercely asset driven, Goodrich has conducted this aspect of their business with self-owned equipment, which also lends an edge vis a vis competition.
