FICCI sees new era of trade relations with Oman

As a prelude to a high level business delegation from Oman, a business delegation of India’s Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) arrived in Muscat to explore opportunities in trade and commerce and reach at mutually beneficial agreements. The delegation from Oman reached India on October 29, 2915, under the leadership of Dr Ali bin Masoud al Sunaidy, Minister of Commerce and Industry. Amongst the Indian FICCI representatives were T Venkataraman, Managing Director and R Gopal, Joint Managing Director, Goodrich Maritime Pvt. Ltd.

The members of the visiting FICCI delegation expressed interest in business tie-ups in areas like infrastructure, port development and networking, maritime activities and fertilisers, taking advantage of Oman’s strategic trade location and business friendly atmosphere.
